Characteristics and comment: Is it yellow? Or is it green? This lovely lotus can be both! The green flowers are more evident early in the season when the weather is a bit cooler with the rich, butter yellow color becoming more common later in the summer. The flower of Lemon & Lime is very round, mounded and held higher than the leaves. It is almost always duplicate with showy dark green petaloids in the center. The flower is long-lasting and holds its color until the petals drop.
