The plant, of medium size, occupies an area of about 1-1.5 square meters (10-16 square feet), making it suitable for medium-sized ponds. Blooming extends from June to October, providing a long period of beauty. Like all tropical water lilies, "Bull's Eye" needs full sun to bloom best and water temperatures between 68-86°F (20-30°C). It also requires a substrate of clay soil or a mixture of clay soil and river sand, and regular fertilization with products specifically for aquatic plants. Being non-hardy, it needs to be protected during the winter.
For tropical water lilies, adequate fertilization is strongly recommended as they require a lot of nutrients to grow optimally. In the fertilizer section you will find Pondtabbs fertilizer, in the form of small tablets, specifically designed for aquatic plants. This allows for vigorous growth and abundant flowering of the purchased plants.
